Cirque du Soleil: Zodiac Signs Concept Design - Bowling Green State University

Each Zodiac is represented through the means of iconic colors associated with the Zodiac or what the actual Zodiac symbol is. Through the lens of Cirque du Soleil, the Zodiac signs come to life through rich colors, symbolism, and creativity. (Due to COVID-19, I was unable to provide physical swatches for these costumes. Instead, I created a Google Doc to showcase my fabric choices.)

Something Rotten - Saint Ignatius Harlequins

Macbeth Concept Design - Bowling Green State University

Macbeth, a story containing betrayal, a lust for power and control, and the deaths that result in it, is conceptually set in the Elizabethan era (1558-1603) for this design. Connecting the story to the era, the nobles held great power and led colorful extravagant lives, while being consumed by paranoia, rivalry, and betrayal.

‘Pride’ Concept Design - Bowling Green State University

The assignment for this concept was to randomly draw one of the 7 sins and represent this sin through the lens of a historical time period and a modern representation. The sin represented here is Pride, as seen through the 1930s and 1940s Hollywood Glam era and Met Gala-inspired evening wear.
